Proof Social Bakehouse was created by Tap Social Movement.
Founded in 2016, Tap Social Movement is a social enterprise brewery and hospitality organisation that provides paid training and employment to people in prison. Tap currently has two other hospitality venues: The Market Tap, Tap Social Taproom. A fourth venue, Day Release, is opening in summer 2026 in Milton Park’s Signal Yard. To date, the organisation has worked with over 60 ex-offenders directly on site, offering more than 115,000 hours of paid employment.
Our head baker, Nick Bentley, joined us with more than ten years of experience under his apron, including as a pastry development chef with Michelin star experience.
